By the time I had the opportunity to take pictures of the sky I was thinking I was going to have to get super creative on taking a picture of clouds because it was so cloudy that it was practically an even blanket of white/gray. I even had a discussion with my love on how I was going to accomplish today's photo at dinner. But after dinner we headed outside in our backyard for a little family fun and the sun started to break through the clouds. I had to run back inside to snag the camera before it was too late.
These clouds tricked me though. I was hoping they'd bring some rain...you know the rain that keeps getting thrown into the forecast. Instead, we got the stinky marshy smell sweeping over the marsh and no rain. Bleh.
