day 3: hands

Okay, so really it's a hand. I think my love is going to cringe when he sees that I posted this pic. I like it though and honestly have to say that its not bad considering the circumstances.

See Sweet P and I have been spending the day doing the potty training bit. As in today was Day 1 of potty training...which is a bit more intensive than I expected as well as much more laundry than I had anticipated. Sure, I expected there'd be laundry...you know of the kiddo variety--consisting of underwear and clothing. Maybe a towel or two. What I didn't expect was to be going through my own clothes and putting on my 5th change of clothes before 11am. But that's what happens when the kiddo panics and realizes she needs to pee and climbs up onto my lap. Yup. I do believe I've been peed on more today than I ever have by this kiddo in the past.

In the back of my mind I was trying to think of a clever photo idea for today's theme. Even when we went outside to play with sidewalk chalk, I had my camera in hand. I got nothin'. Phooey.

It wasn't until after I put Sweet P down for the night (yay, we survived day 1!) that I realized I easily could've taken a picture of her washing her hands after a victory pee to semi-document this big event. Oh well, I was too busy celebrating anyway.

So I did the next best thing and suckered my love into helping me out with this challenge. He's so awesome.
