Like I mentioned earlier, we helped build a fence. I had fun and it helped me cope with no longer owning our own house and having a project to do to better the house.
Did it once before, and it kicked my butt. But the Incline still called me and I did it again. And I smiled. And I loved it. And I know I'll do it again.
And this crazy man I married did it 3 times in the span of 3 weeks!
I tried to get a picture to really show off the crazy beast called the Incline, and while this one kinda does, it still doesn't do this thing justice. I'm talkin' S-T-E-E-P! It gets to the point where you'll have railroad ties and old water pipes that are nearly to my hips before stepping up. I'm still amazed that I have friends who are capable of running this thing. I just don't know how they do it.
Went to the shooting range a few times. The range we went to this time was new to us and awesome.
Our obligatory "at the range" pic. We used to always go to the shooting range when we went on vacation in Colorado, but hadn't made it for a while. Anyway, when we did this, we somehow always ended up taking a couple's pic there.
This was a new one for me to shoot with and I fell in love with it.
At the very end of our time in the "lower 48" we headed up to Wyoming to visit with family for the weekend and run a 5K. While there SweetP enjoyed playing with her teenage cousins (second cousins?...they're my cousins technically) and referred to them as "kids". SweetP was also given this inflatable tiger ring by her Great-Grammy. She loved it and insisted on wearing it all the time...including eating dinner sitting on her Daddy's lap. It was cute and so funny.
An amazing and HUGE farmer's market that had only food and no arts-n-crafts displays. Awesome! The food...so yummy.
