Peeking out the window...

...and my heart melts.

Just before my love headed out on another trip away from home, I went shopping and had some "me" time. Because of this and that, I set out late which happened to be fairly close to dinner. By the time I got home, dinner had been eaten and the kiddo was insisting on going outside. This is becoming more and more of an after dinner activity...mainly filled with "bubbles!"

As I was grabbing some dinner (I was starving) I suggested they go outside to do sidewalk chalk on the wet pavement since it had just rained. (The chalk has a pretty fun water color type of effect when used on wet pavement.)

A few minutes later I was about to join them when I looked out the window and my heart melted. I ran back to my purse, grabbed the camera, and took a few pics. Eventually I got caught by my love. :) Regardless, I captured a pretty special moment that made my heart melt.
