Sweet P has fallen in love with a new book, Munschworks: The first Munsch Collection, that she got for her birthday. Its really a compilation of stories and they are quite enjoyable to read aloud to her and give me a chuckle here and there too. There's just something to be said about some of the stories that dive in to the cute antics of kids, the fun imagination of the author, and the way the words form a rhythm and flow. (I find as the months go by and the more books we discover together the more I slip into critique mode from my former art student self.) Anyway, all this to say, I love it and wanted to share it with you all.

Thankfully, there are several other books within the series that I totally look forward to reading in the coming year as I have no doubt they will be added into our library.

Sweet P's most favorite stories are The Fire Station and Thomas' Snowsuit. I happen to really love The Paper Bag Princess. I love the self confidence she displays--especially at the very end.
