So...picking up where we left off, the kiddo was sick with a nasty stomach bug that just didn't want to go away...
Sunday (24 Jan)
Monday (25 Jan)Finally wisening up and putting blankets and towels on the floor making it an easier clean up in the event of another mess. :(
:( After 3 failed IV sticks, a blown vein, another prick, and then finally a successful needle to get just the blood tests done, we walk out with a Hello Kitty band-aid and a few bruises...along with a sniffily kiddo too exhausted to cry anymore. That sucked.
Feeling a lot better and sportin' a new hair-do too!
It arrived via Amazon!
Feeling even better as is displayed with the cracker mess the kiddo made while playing in the pantry. Totally unaware until I heard her sweeping her legs through the pile swishing them here, there, and everywhere!Saturday (30 Jan)
Blueberry muffins!!! Working on regaining all that weight she lost.
Teething kiddo (molars) finally ate her first popsicle(!) and enjoyed it much to her surprise. Still refusing ice cream though.Tuesday (2 Feb)The kiddo thinking, "are we EVER going to get there?" as we sit on a plane heading to Houston. I had similar thoughts though as I was running out of things to entertain her with.
Wednesday (3 Feb)Some of us getting in a little grocery shopping.
The kiddo was super excited about this carrot while we were at the store. Surprisingly, for the first time, after I prepared it for her, she wanted nothing of it.
A house I fell in love with in The Woodlands near my aunt and uncle's house. Apparently they won't ever have to worry about their house sitting on the market as there's a waiting list for the someday it "might" go on the market.
The kiddo taking a nap during our walk through the neighborhood. Playing with her cousins and climbing all those stairs tuckered her out.
Thursday (4 Feb)Getting better with feeding herself with the spoon by the day.
Hanging out with Miss Olga.
This must totally be genetic. Obviously the "all-edge" brownie pan is NOT necessary amongst my family.
Our attempt at getting a picture of all the great-grandkids with their great-grandparents. Ironically, this picture is similar to a picture of our family with all of us grandkids with Ganny and Papaw many years prior with me (much like the kiddo) crying. Need to find that pic and put it in this album.
