Project Life: Week 7

Sunday

We took a drive through Garden of the Gods and because it was snowing, I just HAD to get a picture of my favorite spot, Cathedral Valley.

Tuesday

As we were driving up to the Air Force Academy's Visitor Center a coyote ran, more like pranced in front of me. I remember thinking, "man, it would be awesome if I got a picture of it." Then it dawned on me that if I at least parked and grabbed my camera I might actually have a chance at it...and sure enough I did!

Wednesday

A trip to Hobby Lobby! Figures I never went to this place when I lived near them. Then I experienced it while on vacation last year and after falling in love with the place discovered there weren't any within a several hundred mile radius to where I currently live! So not cool!

Thursday

Just another shot of the beautiful scenery I'm soaking in to tide me over until my next visit out here.

Friday

This was our original return home date, but because of crazy snow in Dallas, our connecting city, our flights were canceled. So...we got to enjoy an extra day in Colorado and we enjoyed an afternoon at the park. Here, Laurel is playing with her Pappa while on the swing.

Saturday

Not the greatest picture but not horrible. This is the sunrise on our flight leaving Colorado Springs. It definitely made me feel closer to my husband as we were both flying the skies about the same time.

Laurel is totally conked out on our last flight of the trip. After pulling her socks and shoes off and then eating a grahm cracker as well as smearing it all across her face, she fell asleep...for nearly 2 hours. Didn't quite expect that and didn't really bring much to entertain myself since I was more concerned with entertaining Laurel. Wasn't really in the mood to watch Blue's Clues. ;o)
