Yesterday was preceded by a not so great night of sleep for me. I was dragging. I was pretty thankful that a friend of mine that was planning on meeting me at the gym decided she wasn't up for it either which gave me the window of opportunity to make the day a "day off" kind of day.
Just a quiet day at home filled with a long morning in our jammies, a nice long hot shower for me, a happy fun bubble bath for the kiddo, painting our toe nails (which she LOVED and showed me about every 1/2 hour), and lots of playing with toys.
We ransacked a box sitting on the floor of our closet that is filled with a few Christmas presents that have yet to be enjoyed since they were unwrapped. In it, we found a box of window markers. Well, we just so happen to have this huge picture window in our dining room and with snow as a backdrop and it was just begging to be decorated. Fun was definitely had.
