Dare I really mention that its getting close to being dusk (or is it twilight?) and the mosquitoes still haven't come a-feasting on me as I sit here and type outside on the deck? What's wrong in marsh-land tonight? It's hot and super muggy, so its totally ripe for swarms of mosquitoes. So why am I asking this as you know it'll just jinx this beautiful evening and call them to my exposed legs...especially since I am the only one in the neighborhood who is outside--easy prey.
Anyway, we had a nice day today filled with the kiddo's second pool adventure of the summer. Her first experience went surprisingly well. Her second wasn't horrible but it wasn't as good.
Activating the "cling to mommy" mode.
"Waaaa!!! Mommy!!! I don't like this!!!"
"Okay, this is a little more bearable with you RIGHT here...but don't go anywhere."
Recovering and not quite so sure about this whole swimming gig this time. (Look at her face...such a funny expression.)
Totally conked out kiddo after a short drive home.
Okay, as predicted, the mosquitoes have discovered me. Gotta get inside.

It is a nice pool, but sadly not in my neighborhood. It's owned by Pinnacle...so its free, but I have to be signed in as a guest.
