project 52:34 | new experiences

Continuing with our crazy totally packed summer, we hopped on yet another plane to head down to Seattle for a friend's wedding for a few days.

We had a ton of fun reconnecting with old friends, meeting some new friends, and experiencing a lot of new things.  We headed to Pike Place fish market (were a smidge jealous of the jaw-dropping gorgeous and cheap produce there), loved experiencing so much of an artistic outdoorsy vibe, experienced a lot more steep hills than I ever imagined Seattle to have, celebrated the union of two fascinating and fun people, enjoyed a day at a lake house, and camping in a cabin just off the Sound.

SweetPea was in heaven and loved playing and dancing with the other kids and seeing the "princess" marry her "prince" at the wedding.  She went rafting, jumped on a water trampoline, and kayaked.  Even when she tipped over, she wanted right back on to go for another round on the kayak.  We walked in the waters of Pugent Sound and discovered live sand dollars, crabs, and oysters.

It was totally a trip of discovery and new experiences for all of us.

We wish the happy couple many years of joy and togetherness and thank them for the opportunities shared.
