it's a....

 

Yup, once again, I was wrong! With SweetPea, I was totally convinced I was going to have a boy and again with this one. Maybe that should have be my clue. At any rate, we're all thrilled to be welcoming another little girl into our family!

I'm very excited that I get to have another round of dressing this little one up in some of my favorite baby outfits from when SweetPea was a baby. Plus the super fabulous part about having this one at the same time of year? I get to use the same Christmas and Easter dresses that were oh-so-cute and worn pretty much only once! Now the summer clothes...probably not, since it just doesn't get that warm up here. 

 Anyway, this little one has been quite the "wiggly worm" and much more active than SweetPea was (and she was pretty active herself earning the nickname of Squirmy when I was pregnant with her). This was confirmed yesterday at our ultrasound appointment when the tech doing our ultrasound had to stray from his usual routine and take advantage of any and every opportunity the little one gave him to get the required measurements. It was a lot of fun and we really liked the tech. He was very thorough but not only that, he taught us so many things and explained soooo much! It was an awesome experience and absolutely fascinating.

It was also a little bit of a bonding experience with our little one as we were watching her yawn, wave, kick her legs, practice her breathing, etc.  Seriously amazing, isn't it?
