Man, does it feel good to be "home". I just can't get over how much more "me" I'm feeling right now.
I'm in my comfortable and familiar climate--even if I am having to get a little acclimated. I never would have guessed that I was so used to air conditioning in the house.
I'm in a culture that is very much more fitting and who I am.
I'm inspired.
I'm loving the light outside.
Which naturally calls for a camera...and a subject...
which just so happened to be...our Miss Matty girl.

It's okay though. She didn't mind. She's enjoying the drier, less buggy, and less itchy climate too. Poor girl was totally allergic to our last home state. So not kidding. Her itching is drastically decreasing as well as the angry skin on her belly.
Then I had to snag a picture of the very weathered wood on a fence that we're currently helping to replace. It's kinda neat, huh?
