Totally love how it looks like she's giving me the "thumbs up!" sign after having a fairly successful attempt going up the stairs. Oi!

Testing out the stairs
A week ago, out of nowhere, the kiddo discovered the stairs. She had never really shown any interest in them before. I just so happened to have the camera nearby right as she started making her move on them. I didn't get a great picture, but at least I was able to capture something of the event. Funnily enough, when we installed the baby gates a couple of weeks ago, we decided to hold off on finishing the install on this set since she hadn't started climbing up them. I think she was eavesdropping. ;0) Needless to say, this gate will soon be up too.

Oh, yes, the baby gates are a must. We had them up for ages...I still don't always trust my 22 month old!
