A couple of us girls got together and threw a "Sip-n-See" shower for a couple of pretty momma's who just brought two super cute baby boys into the world.
I decided to try my hand out in making a diaper cake. It turned out pretty good and it was so ridiculously easy. I also put in a little surprise in the center for the momma. :)
It was a morning brunch type of thing and I just had to bring some super yummy food that I knew one of the mommas loved.
One of the cool things about being a military wife is all the other women I meet. We share things like recipes (of course, what woman doesn't?) and those recipes not only have strong memories associated with them but they also keep those friends close even after you move away and get scattered all over the world. Both of these recipes come from a sweet friend from our days in Texas who I'll refer to as Faye, whom I first met at a PWOC bible study.
