Being that this was the last night on-board, it meant a dressier event. So we got all fancied up and truly made this a fun date-night.
Dinner that night was in the Enchanted Garden. It was an interesting setting. I wanted to like it because it combined an art deco feel (one of my favorite time periods in art history) and was inspired by the Garden of Versalles (which is flat out beautiful). I really wanted to like it, but I struggled.
The food, however, was still fabulous. I also learned that I liked beets. Something about their real earthy flavor just grabs me. Somehow it brings back memories of when I was a kid--maybe I ate them and don't remember?
We enjoyed talking food.
We enjoyed walking around the ship and exploring.
We enjoyed breathing in the warm salty air as the breeze blew as we looked over the railing at the blackness surrounding us.
Of course I had to insert the cool obligatory towel animal that was put on our bed each night. These were so cool and it was a new one each night. It doesn't take much to entertain me some times. ;o)
