Finally! Since practically before the kiddo was born, I've been wanting to get her a pair of real deal Crocs. Don't ask me why it had to be
the real thing, but it did. Anyway, we just happened to be down at the Outlets yesterday and they just happened to have a Crocs Outlet store...so we just happened to walk in and the kiddo decided that nearly every pink, purple, or orange set of Crocs needed to be handled by herself. When I first spotted a tiny pair of plain old Crocs for toddlers my jaw dropped thinking there was no way I'd pay nearly $30 for some--at an Outlet store no less. But! I did happen to find a cute pair with Mickey mouse and a touch of pink for the kiddo for less than $15 in addition to my savvy 10% off coupon too. Too cute. She LOVES them (score for me!) and she is putting them on all by herself! Amazing.

My latest furniture project.
I fell in love with the lines of this chair the other day but didn't buy it. A few days later it was still on my mind and I had a $5 off coupon to use at Goodwill so I figured if it was still there, I'd go ahead and get it. Well...it was...so now you see it pictured here on our beautiful green front lawn. This was before I dis-mantled it to do a little bit of repair and to take out the million nails and staples. As my friend Theresa stated, I could've reupholstered an entire couch with the amount of metal I pulled out of it tonight. Next step...paint, stain, and I'm thinkin' a little bit of sanding. We'll see...and I'll post an after pic. Oh, and yes, that is vinyl you see on the chair pad.
Yay for Crocs! My kids have had a pair of Crocs ever since they could walk (Brenna actually has a pair now - baby Crocs!) Can't wait to see the chair - we're going to need to find new ones for our kitchen when B's old enough to need one, so I'll need ideas!
