Anyway, the other day was an absolutely beautiful morning and I just HAD to take the opportunity to capture a few shots of my Bleeding Heart flowers. I fell in love with these a long time ago and have never ever had any luck with them. Last year I bought large one on clearance for $3 and thought "just maybe...". Well, about 20 minutes after planting it while my dad and I were working on a landscaping project it got completely hacked with the weed eater. (Total sad face.) Went back to the nursery to get another and not surprisingly they were gone. Well...this year I have to declare my Bleeding Heart that was hacked to be a total and complete success! It is gorgeous and covered in the little heart-shaped flowers.

Still workin' on it
I am so having fun getting back into the digital art world! A tweak here another there and it just never seems to ever get done. But I'm so far away from being where I want to be with this whole blog redesign...But that's okay with me, it just gives me yet another creative outlet which puts me right where I like to be.
