Project Life: Week 11

I finally ordered my pictures from the first 2 1/2 months of this project last week. Super excited to see my project start to fill in!

Anyway, last week we enjoyed having my love home for most of the week. We saw signs of spring coming followed by lots and lots of rain over the weekend.

**As a sidenote, blogger is being a little tempermental today and giving me grief with pictures/text/alignment. Bah!**

Sunday

We headed to IHOP for breakfast/brunch before heading to church. We had a little extra time and the weather was pretty nice so we hit up the church playground for a little bit of fun on the swing. The kiddo obviously enjoyed herself.
Monday

Daddy eating cheese draws interest from both the kiddo and Matty. Daddy got to share. ;o)

Went to the duck park and enjoyed even more of the beautiful weather. It's becoming more and more fun going to the park with the kiddo now that she's getting older and more curious.
Tuesday

The weather was gorgeous and we headed out to our front yard for some awesome exploration and playtime. The kiddo absolutely loves the outdoors now and constantly wants to go out...even when its raining.

Thursday
I had the wonderful pleasure of going to the dentist (note my sarcasm) while Daddy and the kiddo got to go to playgroup. They had a great time. At least I finally found a dentist I like...guess it must be time to move, huh?

Friday
Back to work: The kiddo giving Daddy a "Yay! You're home" hug.

Saturday

So Thursday was the front-end of a big front that brought lots and lots and lots of rain. This is a picture of the marsh that is behind our house and the water was quite noticeable in the afternoon, well after high tide. We could even see water in a section of marsh we didn't even know existed off to the far right from this picture.

  1. Great outdoor pictures this week. we enjoyed some spring weather too. I love the one with Laurel hugging her daddy. When we get a lot of heavy rain the houses across the street gets like this sometimes even worse. They stay in their house and wait for it to dry up, sometimes people even drive by and take pictures of all the water that surrounds their houses. We are lucky to have good drainage on our side of the street. Have a good week, thanks for sharing.

  2. Love the photo of your little one with Daddy. So cute!! Isn't it great when you get those first couple nice days in the early spring? I know it's probably just a tease, but it is great to get out and enjoy it!
