Picture re-cap of the last two months

Wow! I can't believe its been nearly two months since my last post! The holidays were definitely a busy time this year around here. To add to the mix, my love had a trip, we had the kiddo's first birthday and party, and parents coming out for visits, let alone another deployment to prepare for. So rather than go into story mode, I'm just going to post pics and let them do most of the talking. ;o)

Kiddo's first Thanksgiving.

My love on another trip.

A new toy that will hopefully help with sleep.

A new trick of the kiddo's...climbing into boxes. Oh, and she LOVES being pulled around the room while riding in the box. Too cute.

Getting ready for her 1st Birthday party!

Don't let this picture fool you. She doesn't look upset about this cake, but that's before we blew out the candle...then it was a screaming and terrified kiddo.

Apparently still traumatized from her birthday party cake. We thought we would give it a second chance with a cupcake on her actual birthday. Obviously didn't fly.

The results of our pre-Christmas snow! It was about 2 feet of snow in one day! By Christmas, the rain came and literally washed nearly all evidence away. Thankfully too, because this state has some serious things to learn about snow removal on the roads.

I promise, there really are steps under this snow leading to our front door.

After my love and I removed snow from only 1/2 of our driveway.

Christmas morning and this kid knows what to do!

It was scenes like this throughout the day that just made my heart melt.

Where's the kiddo?

At the airport soaking in a few precious minutes before saying good-bye for a few months. Not so fun and a bit harder than the last time we did this.

Father daughter stroll...

Playing peek-a-boo under the bench.

Lunch with Amma and PawPaw at Pat's Pizza. The kiddo is wearing PawPaw's hat.

Saying "goodbye, we'll see you again real soon!" on New Year's Day at the airport.
