I'm not exactly scared of snakes, but I'll admit that this snake skin caught me off guard when I was working in the garden. I even called my daddy about it since my love was out of town. It kinda gave me the heebie jeebies but I threw it into the trash can without any issues. Fast forward a few days later and it totally threw me for a loop when I went outside to put some trash in the trash can and glanced in and saw a "snake" sitting at the bottom. I had forgotten all about it and it definitely got my heart rate up a bit and made my mind work on figuring out how a snake had gotten in there until I had remembered.
In other news, we're getting closer to finishing up our big landscaping projects and I'll post pics then. Its kind of weird, but we're thinking that regardless of whether we move in the near future or not, that these will be the last big landscaping projects we do at this house. Kinda sad but kinda exciting. I'm feeling good with everything we've done and am totally getting some satisfaction and enjoyment when I look out the windows. Very nice. Once we finish up our latest project all I'll have left is filling in and fine tuning. Nice. I'll leave with a before pic, although admittedly a bit of an unfair "before" pic as it is before the grass seed was even thrown down and the silt fence removed.
This is looking out our back door at our nice dirt patch. Pretty, huh? Maybe we should have left it this way instead...

Kaylie, I used the "15 Minute Dress Tutorial" (it took me significantly longer but you'll whip one out in no time!) and picked up oversized bandannas at Walmart for $2 (for 2): http://treyandlucy.blogspot.com/2009/01/15-minute-dress.html
